CERAFRI, Center of Research and Advanced Education for Hydrogeological Risk Prevention, is an associated society of the University of Florence and the Municipality of Stazzema (Lucca), it carries out research and education for advancing the knowledge and the culture of hydrogeological risk, land preservation and sustainable water resources management. CERAFRI works in contact with National and Regional authorities and carries out research projects and consultancy for local institutions, Universities, research centers and private companies. According to its objectives, the center carries out activity of research, education and communication about the “care” of the Water and sustainable water management.
