CEREDEV Development Organization (CEREDEV) is a Non-Government, non-profit making organization registered in Tanzania. CEREDEV was first registered in 2009 as a Limited Liability Company without shares with registration No. 73915 (attached). With head office in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, CEREDEV has branch offices in Mwanza, Mbarara (Uganda) and Johannesburg (South Africa). Since 2016 we have focused on young people programming including carrying out several assessments of DREAMS programs with partners including Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS), Management and Development for Health (MDH) and Pact South Africa. CEREDEV is also a Member of the Sexual Reproductive Africa Health Network where a lot of young people meet to discuss and identify solutions to their challenges. The organization is led by a Management Team of experts comprising of the Chief Executive Officer, three directors responsible for 1) Training and Youth Development; 2) Research, Evaluations and Data Management; 3) Finance and Resource Mobilization sections. Four Branch Coordinators in South Africa and Mbarara (Uganda) also form part of the management team. Four of the 6-member Management Team of CEREDEV are women and girls. The team reports to the CEREDEV members assembly made up all persons that have ever been employed by CEREDEV or undertaken at least one of CEREDEV capacity building/mentorship courses and subscribe to the CEREDEV’s Vision, Mission and policies. CEREDEV relies considerably on Consultants specialized in different fields. The Consultants are invited to participate in CEREDEV activities including resource mobilization and bidding, capacity building and social cooperate responsibility tasks such as the Youth Development and Reproductive Health Programme or Youth Championship program in schools and communities when their specialized skills are required.
