The OBAC Institute as the third party takes obligatory and voluntary participation in the conformity assessment process for which the manufacturer is obliged before his new product is placed on the EU market. After the product has passed such assessment the manufacturer issues the EC declaration of conformity and may affix the CE mark on the product if it is required. The obtained OBAC conformity certificate is a reliable confirmation that the certified product meets the specified requirements of standards and regulations, this ensuring its safe usage.
