Customs & Forwarding Services (Australia) or CFS was founded in 1982 by Phillip Mortiss, a young recently licensed energetic customs broker who dared to have a healthy dose of ambition. Phil’s aim was pretty simple really, to offer a straight forward approach to the customs brokerage/ freight forwarding requirements of the Australian business community in an honest, transparent and mutually respectful manner. To this day, some 36 years later CFS still handles the vast majority of our original client’s international trade requirements, delivered in those originally defined ideals. Today our dedicated, professional staff looks after the full suite of import and export shipping services that the international business community expects; • Import & export shipping – Airfreight & Seafreight (LCL/ FCL/ FAK) services • Small Parcel Courier Service – Both International & National • Warehousing & Transport Solutions, citywide, statewide, nationwide & internationally. • Customs Brokerage Services • Customs Tariff Consultancy Services, including TCO applications • FTA (Free Trade Agreements) & associated advisory services In early 2014 Bob Wallace of "Wallace International" offered to purchase the company from Phil with the promise to carry on the business according to Phil’s founding values. Now some 36 years since our establishment we are still a proudly 100% family owned Australian company. Today we have dedicated, experienced partners in all five continents that help us ship, monitor and deliver a wide variety of our client’s products in a safe, secure, timely & economical fashion with the minimum of fuss. Over the last 36 years we have become an extension of our clients order processing, a trusted partner that takes away the worries of the shipping process so they can concentrate on growing their business, after all that’s what it’s all about “Growing your business”.
