CHAINBREAKER COLLECTIVE is a civic & social organization non-profit at 1519 Fifth St, Santa Fe, New Mexico, United Chainbreaker is a member-led economic, environmental and racial justice organization based in Santa Fe, NM since 2004. Through base building community organizing, Chainbreaker works to expand access to affordable transportation and support economically and environmentally sustainable communities for low-income people in Santa Fe and throughout Northern NM. Over the last 20 years, we have changed the way people talk about, think about, and how policy-makers make laws about transportation, housing, and equity in Santa Fe. Through our flagship Bicycle Resource Center program, we have provided education to thousands of Santa Feans and distributed over bikes to people who would otherwise be unable to afford one.
