Cham Bakery

Cham Bakery was founded to bring Authentic Pocket Pita Bread, rooted in generations of family tradition to the American market. The Alderie family’s baking heritage began more than 84 years ago in Damascus, Syria, where Alaa Alderie’s grandfather established the original family bakery. Our recipes were passed from grandfather to father — Fiaz Alderie — and then to Alaa, preserving traditional methods while building a modern, fully automated bakery in the United States. Today, Cham Bakery produces a loaf of bread every four seconds and serves the St. Louis Metro region delivering through Fox River Dairy & National Distribution through UNFI.
