Champ Industrial Design

Industrial, product, mechanical design and development. Phil started Champ Industrial Design (CID) in March 2011 after more than 30 years working within the design industry. His final position prior to starting CID was as principal product designer with LAPD who specialised in lighting and lighting product design. Within this role Phil worked mainly on architectural, retail and commercial luminaires for many of the leading European manufacturers. Phil has worked in the product design and development industry for a wide variety of manufacturing areas such as, baby products, toys, games, mobile phones, professional lighting and packaging of high value electronics. Phil is experienced in DFM & DFA and working with global manufacturers. He uses 3D CAD and rapid prototyping techniques to realise and prove out design developments.
