Landry, the winemaker and farm manager, embodies the essence of the MACHET estate, committed to crafting exceptional champagnes. The journey commenced in the 1980s with his father, Pascal, who kickstarted the champagne marketing. Today, Landry, accompanied by his spouse, Laura, and under the vigilant gaze of their daughters, Elsa and Anaïs, observes their estate thriving with each passing day. Our family has been rooted in winegrowing for four generations due to our terroir. Our estate is situated in Vaudemange, a Champagne village with the nickname "White Pearl". The village is nestled in the Montagne de Reims and criss-crossed by the prestigious Champagne Tourist Route. Our vineyards are mainly 1er Cru, spread across four hectares. We practice integrated viticulture, which reflects our complete dedication to our vines. This dedication is confirmed by the "Viticulture Durable" and "Haute Valeur Environnementale" labels that MACHET proudly displays. Our Champagnes, distinguished by their mineral notes and low sugar content, are meticulously fashioned to pair perfectly with food without compromising their authenticity. The scent of our wines changes in the bottle as they mature in our cellars after blending. Our range of eight fixed cuvées is complemented by an ephemeral cuvée that is renewed biennially, symbolising our constant commitment to innovation and offering a one-of-a-kind experience to our customers and partners. The exceptional quality of our champagnes is also recognised in the accolades of the Guide Hachette des Vins 2024, where two of our cuvées were singled out.
