Our Motto has never changed: EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHANCE! Chance 4 Children (C4C) is a humanitarian NGO, organized as non-profit civic association, dedicated to offer help and assistance primarily to children growing up in orphanages and similar institutions, away from love and care of their parents, and help them to integrate smoothly into society – without being stigmatized as second class citizens. It is the declared goal of the association to develop and implement programs, such as the popular ROBIN HOOD and SPRINGBOARD TO LIFE initiatives, to assist socially handicapped children by improving their quality of life and provide supplemental educational and vocational opportunities for them as a springboard to a successful adult life. We endeavor to also develop and share best practices and sustainable solutions with other organizations with similar aims and goals. We deplore any form of discrimination and bias. We strive to respond to all people in need, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender. SPRINGBOARD TO LIFE - preparing orphans to succeed in life through knowledge and skills! The initiative aims to significantly improve the chance of success in the personal and professional lives of such children, mainly by offering them vocational educational courses, social and practical life skills and mentoring. DR. CLOWN - the original and 1st hospital clown program in the Czech Republic since It is aimed at helping hospitalized children, undergoing often aggressive therapies, overcome the trauma of prolonged hospitalization. The therapy of laughter by the certified hospital clowns and helpers is aiding the natural healing process of the small patients. ROBIN HOOD - a ray of hope for institutionalized children. Partnering with multinational giants and local businesses alike, the initiative helps local orphanages to improve the quality of life of the socially disadvantaged children, to make their lives more enjoyable and to have an education.
