After facing burnout in the middle of my 15-year career in aid, I dedicated myself to finding ways to prevent burnout, get balance in my life, thrive under stress and use my creativity to overcome any challenge. Now I use what I’ve learned – along with my professional coaching certification – to help women in high-pressure, purpose-driven careers to prevent burnout and get more balance, so they can make the impact they’ve always dreamed of without sacrificing their own I’m lucky to meet many smart, passionate and dedicated women in purpose-driven careers - such as healthcare and aid work - who took this path to make a real difference. But time after time, they tell me that the challenges they’re facing are so overwhelming, so time consuming and so energy-draining, that they find themselves close to burnout and hating the job they once loved. I get it – after facing burnout in the middle of my 15-year career in aid, I know exactly what it’s like to have no balance in your life; to be working crazy hours, dealing with challenge after challenge thrown up by the system; to try again and again to make an impact but to feel like your hands are being tied. To feel like you’re failing. Back then I quit my toxic job and dedicated myself to finding ways to prevent burnout and get more balance in my life. Now I use what I’ve learned – along with my professional coaching certification – to help other women in high-pressure, purpose-driven careers to find out what they want out of life and how to get there, so that they can love their work and their life again – and make the impact they’ve always dreamed of without sacrificing their own wellbeing.
