About Changing Environments Inc. Changing Environments is an early stage venture-capital backed startup offering smart hardware and software solutions to make smart cities reality. We combine our advanced sensor solution and existing sensor infrastructure to create a platform for next generation smart city applications. Our first product Soofa combines benches, solar power, sensors, and Internet connectivity, which let the public enjoy free charging for mobile devices. The benches were distributed through Boston and received recognition from Reuters, Mashable, the Boston Globe, and others. Based on the Soofa network, we will create a software platform and open API for applications that can reach out to the places we care about.
