Character Gps

Our Mission: We are on fire for providing life-changing character development experiences, resources and personal growth for children and their influencers. We equip American you with the tools to discover their innate value, what they stand for, and how to pursue lifelong dreams by focusing on their smart goals. We are a startup division of a 501c3 nonprofit that has developed a dynamic character development program. After running pilot programs at the Sulphur Springs Boys and Girls Club and Metropolitan Ministries charter school in the second quarter of 2012, we have been encouraged by the growth and enthusiasm that our students and mentors experienced. This program is life changing! Our 8 Adventure program tackles ten specific behavior issues, including bullying, cheating, lying, fights/violence, apathy to learning, disrespect of authority, disrespect of others, addictions, stealing, and low self-respect. We have lively, fun-filled activities in each adventure, along with multi-media presentations and student input throughout. This finite program teaches positive character traits in-depth, giving students the opportunity to work on how they can implement each lesson to help their lives. Each child has a mentor that works with the child throughout the program, giving the child individual assistance and accountability. We are looking for partners, schools and community organizations that want to help their kids because Character GPS will.
