Charles Wyndham Cattle

After years of dedicated care of the bovine creature, Charles Wyndham Cattle are sharing some inside stories. Almost a century ago the family was first involved in cattle in the south of Wales near Tenby. A history of dedicated herdsman has evolved through various farms including locations in UK, Wales, the Isle of Wight and finally finding Yorkshire as our home in the 1950's. In later years the family has been involved in Pedigree and Pure bred Limousin cattle, we raise high quality calves through to strong store cattle for finishers to take on. Today we have a younger generation being trained in cattle husbandry and we welcome the future. Today the wishes of the directors are to share our story about excellent quality cattle with everyone who enjoys the very best of beef. Our genuine non-GM feed products for the cattle represent the best produce available. We work tirelessly with veg producers to reduce waste and therefore our cattle enjoy a variety of produce from potato, carrots, fodder beet, parsnip etc. Our feed is complemented with cereals such as barley, wheat, beans, maize etc and all feed is milled on our own farm. We really do know what has gone into our cattle. Animal Welfare - we work closely with abattoirs who uphold the greatest respect and care for each individual creature through the process of converting it from a live animal to a carcass.
