Cheesecaked Boutique is a whimsical, Black woman-owned bakery built on resilience, creativity, and joy. Founded by Shawn Brown, a mother, survivor, and visionary entrepreneur, Cheesecaked was born from the belief that dessert should be more than a sweet treat—it should be an experience that lifts your spirit and reminds you life can still be beautiful, no matter what you’ve been through. After surviving a devastating car accident and later a battle with breast cancer, Shawn turned her pain into purpose. Cheesecaked became a living expression of hope and imagination, known for over-the-top cheesecakes, milkshakes, and glitter-topped creations that look like they came straight out of a dream. At Cheesecaked, we don’t do basic. We do bold, playful, and unforgettable. Fan favorites include Mr. Big Stuff (a brownie cheesecake sandwich with caramel and pecans), Mrs. Big Stuff (a chocolate chip cookie version), Big Momma (red velvet), and shakes like Shakin’ the Cookie Jar and Thou Shall Not Cinn…abun! What started as one boutique has grown into a joyful brand with nationwide reach. Cheesecaked now ships DIY dessert kits, shelf-stable syrups, and curated bundles that let you bring the magic home. We’ve been featured on Good Morning America, BET Her, and the Cooking Channel for our creative desserts and empowering story. Beyond the bakery, Cheesecaked is expanding into storytelling, merchandise, and entertainment with projects like Sweet Whimsy™ and our dessert drama mini-series Crust Off™.
