San Jose-based ChefCentury offers local chefs a chance to focus on their culinary skills, connects chefs and customers, and partners with charities to support worthy causes. The company was founded to help chefs hit hard by the pandemic as one way of “doing well to do good.” Chefs have access to a state-licensed, commercial kitchen, delivery logistics, marketing, and customer service with no upfront costs. In turn, customers can sample new cuisines and dishes while supporting local talent and deserving charities.
