Chernomorsky Shipyard

State Joint-Stock Holding Company «Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard» – the largest shipbuilding enterprise of Ukraine and one of the most powerful in Europe was founded in 1897. During the century there had been built more than ships and vessels of different types and purposes: fleet destroyers, ships of the line, submarines, cruisers, ice-breakers, tug boats, whale factory vessels, bulk carriers, research vessels, floating bases for missile weapon, floating bases for submarines, floating workshops, vessels with horizontal cargo-processing, antisubmarine ships, supertrawlers for fish transportation, bottom research vessels, aircraft carriers, tankers and tens of thousands of machines, machinery, boilers, equipment of various purposes. The vessels of the shipyard were exported to Sweden, Bulgaria, Norway, Romania, Great Britain, Germany, Portugal, Kuwait, India and Greece. The company is placed in Nikolaev – large industrial and port center of Ukraine. The available warehouses and lifting & transporting equipment in the near-port area allow storing and transshipment of cargo of various types and also the delivery of production by sea, railway or automobile transport. The experience of construction of more than 60 vessel and ship projects allows the company to create any kinds of shipbuilding production.
