Chester Community Coalition

Founded in 2019, Chester Community Coalition is a dynamic, nonprofit organization that fosters positive change and growth within the city of Chester and Delaware County. mission is to support communities affected by gun violence and provide tools for coping with and processing trauma on the journey towards holistic healing while considerate of the needs of its members. Through collaborations with local businesses, foundations, government agencies, and community members, works to address various social issues and create opportunities for sustainable development. Our initiatives include trauma-informed training, mental and physical health, employment, and community engagement.
