When dreams die, they do not make much noise. When hopes are crushed, the sighs are soundless." For over 2 years CHHANV has worked to ensure the medical & legal rights with helping them to live, learn, play, be loved and protected under its rehabilitation policy. It is these faces that Stop Acid Attacks attempts to bring to light, from behind the veil, neglect and fear. Stop Acid Attacks is a call, a campaign against the brutality of acid violence. When we launched on March 8th, 2014, a determined resolve to bring these unseen, unknown stories to the fore, guided us. We work as a bridge between survivors and the society, as the two come to stand isolated from each other when a girl is attacked with acid. Our mandate inspires us to first seek out all those survivors of acid attacks who have yet not emerged after this grave assault. We seek to provide them urgent and adequate medical and legal aid, and rehabilitate them by finding alternate sources of income. We connect them with potential donors and supporters for these urgent needs. Most significantly, our endeavor is to motivate and strengthen them.
