Chicago Global Shapers

The Global Shapers Community is a network of young people driving dialogue, action, and change. We believe in a world where young people are central to solution building, policy-making, and lasting change. We're proud to be the Chicago USA hub! The World Economic Forum/WEF created Global Shaper hubs in major cities around the world to empower young leaders to make a difference in their community and represent the youth voice at the Forum. Our first Chicago Shapers convened in June 2013 and we've added two more cohorts since then. We believe our diversity is a key strategic asset: we represent Chicago's amazing neighborhoods (Hyde Park to Edgewater and everything in between), industries (municipal gov't, tech, finance, and so on), and pizza predilections (deep-dish, thin-crust, and yes, New York-style).
