Child Safety Media Ltd (CSM) is a leading provider of safety events for children and young people covering topics such as personal safety, fire and home safety, first aid, crime, drugs, bullying and anti-social behaviour. CSM makes a significant contribution to the safety and wellbeing of children by providing schools with vital information on which communities and young people’s lives depend. Focusing on key elements of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE), CSM’s events and supporting resources have been widely endorsed by teachers, parents, professional bodies and more importantly, the children themselves. The organisation recognises that collaborative working is fundamental in the area of safety and accident prevention as it is a complex issue that cuts across a range of boundaries and responsibilities. It is a shared responsibility but it needs someone to bring this all together. Therefore, CSM works with the emergency services, community organisations, local authorities and other Government agencies to ensure that its events and resources are delivered effectively and reach as wide an audience as possible.
