ChimSpect Software, the ultimate chimney inspection software, officially launched in 2018. The co-owner and creator, Jim Ferguson, has over 40 years of experience in the industry. In a quest to standardize how all of his technicians completed and documented level I and level II chimney inspections, he was unable to find any software on the market that met his demands. Thus, the vision for ChimSpect Software was born. He partnered with his brother, Bill, a Microsoft retiree with over 40 years of software experience, to create ChimSpect. In 2018, the software was launched and has now been used by hundreds of chimney sweeps to generate over reports!
