China Construction Infrastructure Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CCIC") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CSCEC") with a registered capital of RMB 12 billion. Its predecessor was the Bureau of Machinery under the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China. In 1983, China Construction Machinery Corporation was established through reorganization. Later, in accordance with national policies, it was transferred to China State Construction Engineering Corporation. In 2007, it was restructured into China Construction Infrastructure Corporation. Following 2024, as China's construction market becomes saturated, CSCEC will gradually transform from a construction organization into a more deliberate facility operations entity. CSCEC's future focus will shift towards the operation of China's infrastructure market and construction projects in Southeast Asian countries. The Infrastructure Division of CSCEC operates independently through the CCIC platform, fulfilling CSCEC's functions for both internal management and external market operations. From 2024 to 2034, CSCEC will prioritize resolving approximately 2 trillion yuan in debt.
