China Textile Engineering Society

China Textile Engineering Society (CTES) was established in April 1930, is the earliest social organization of textile science and technology workers. CTES is a non-profit, but also a national, academic, scientific social organization as Legal person. The Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China is the registration authority of CTES. CTES is under the supervision and administration of China Association for Science and Technology. CTES has 18 professional committees, two working committees and 10 offices. It has more than 5 million individual members, 216 group members, who come from the textile science research, technology development, management and other related personnel and related enterprises, institutions and academic groups. The latest 25th Council, Mr. Sun Ruizhe served as the president. “Journal of Textile Research” (monthly) is an official publication of CTES. “Journal of Textile Research” is one of the most important academic and technically authoritative publications in the Chinese textile circle, it has been included in Ei Compendex and the American journal “Chemical Abstract”.
