Chintaro

Formerly known as CODA, Chintaro is a purpose-built Social Housing software program developed over the past 20 years to suit the needs of the Australian and New Zealand social housing sectors. Chintaro is a mature, robust system that is used by housing providers big and small. This easy-to-use system helps almost 200 Australian and New Zealand housing providers efficiently handle the most pressing and everyday challenges, including: Tenancy Management: Chintaro makes it easy to manage, track, report on and communicate with your tenants. Users can keep detailed case notes and assign tasks, manage arrears and arrangements, communicate via SMS, email and word-merge letters, manage waiting lists and more. Property Management: Chintaro keeps the details of tradespeople, creates work orders and sends them via email. It will schedule and manage your property inspections, track cyclical maintenance and provide full property inventories. Finance Management: Chintaro is built around transactional tenancy and property ledgers. The software includes automated rent payments from Centrepay/WINZ and all banking institutions, strong arrears and arrangement management with detailed maintenance costing. IT Management: Chintaro is compatible with any Windows operating system environment, be it a single or multi user system. Chintaro can run across a Local Area Network, and can also run in Citrix and Terminal Server environments. A SQL Server based version of Chintaro is available. Reporting: Chintaro can produce lots of reports. These include: Statutory Reports - required to be completed and provided to statutory authorities, Standard Reports - including client, finance, waiting list, property and maintenance; designed to be printed and read. Standard Exports - designed to be exported into Microsoft Excel or another data analysis tool. Reports that don't exist in Chintaro can be provided on request.
