Chisem Foundation

The Chisem Foundation is a youth-initiated organization established in 2022. The name"Chisem" is derived from Tibetan, where it signifies "selflessness." reflecting a sense of unity with all individuals. Our team comprises dedicated volunteers from diverse backgrounds, including monks, working professionals, and students pursuing various courses. Although our team is currently small, our aspiration is to expand our reach and make a more significant impact on society. Chisem's primary objectives encompass raising awareness about mental health, providing guidance to young individuals regarding their careers and passions, and assigning urban monks and nuns with communication and translation support as needed. Our overarching goal is to foster growth and change at the grassroots level by changing societal stigmas. We aim to achieve this through the organization and hosting of interactive dialogues and conferences involving Tibetan and Indian youth. We are committed to promoting positive change by addressing critical societal issues through a range of initiatives. We are determined to expand our reach and influence to create a lasting impact on the community.
