Chisholm Trail Hearing

Dr. Nancy Lucas is a board certified and licensed audiologist. She not only does complete diagnostic assessment, tinnitus evaluation and sound therapy but also rehabilitative counseling and services to facilitate better hearing for her patients. Before opening up Chisholm Trail Hearing, Dr. Lucas was an audiologist for nine and a half years with the Department of Veterans Affairs Fort Worth clinic. While there, she provided audiological services for thousands of our nation's veterans. She also was involved in training and supervising audiology doctoral students. She has since worked in private practice. Dr. Lucas believes she has a calling to practice audiology,"Growing up with deaf parents and a deaf sibling has given a special appreciation and insight of the impact hearing loss can have on individuals and their families. My priority is to improve each patient's hearing according to their individual needs and preferences." After a comprehensive evaluation of each patient, we discuss the various advanced technologies and capabilities that will better fit that patient's hearing loss and lifestyle. Dr. Lucas earned her doctorate degree in audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania and her master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology and the American Tinnitus Association.
