Cholsey Community Development Trust

Aims and Activities Cholsey Community Development Trust was initiated by the development partners (Linden Homes and Thomas Homes) at Cholsey Meadows to establish a charitable community trust which responds to local needs and priorities. In the first instance the Trust will: own and manage the community facilities at Cholsey Meadows which will be endowed to the Trust, and will include the Pavillion, the Great Hall, and the chapel and as well as the cricket field. initiate and deliver community development activities to build a strong and creative community where residents and others who work in or use the area, share a strong sense of belonging, pride and commitment to its future and wellbeing. encourage residents to adopt a green lifestyle by promoting the green travel plan, and informing the public of ways to reduce their carbon footprints. The Trust is set up as a charity with a management board, constitution and transition plan as the development is completed.
