Choppies Zambia was founded on November 25th, 2015. Since its inception in Zambia, it is the fastest growing group of chain stores. • The Choppies Zambia five-year expansion plan is to open a minimum ten new stores across the country. • This will translate into a direct recruitment drive of a minimum of 300 – 500 new staff in these new stores. • Human capital resource is essential in the growth of Choppies with targeted community empowerment through hiring of staff in the localities in which a store is operational from. • Choppies focus is on growing the business by opening stores which reflect the changing habits, development and needs of our customers which will bring new customers and communities into the Choppies family. • We pride ourselves in providing value for money and a happy shopping experience to customers and communities. • In this light, intensive customer service, system-wise, merchandising concepts, food, safety and hygiene and retail management training is a key part of the daily operational requirements at Choppies which in turn produces a skilled work-force governed by an ethos or hard-work and integrity.
