At Chorus Sleep (Y Combinator-backed) we've built Luna, an agentic AI system that delivers structured, evidence-based sleep guidance through real conversations and memory-informed, multi-step journeys. Our modular AI platform—a self-learning backend plus conversational guide—runs on a multi-LLM stack (including OpenAI and Claude). It uses carefully designed prompt + eval processes so Luna can safely reason over user memories (longitudinal health, sleep, and behavior data) and route people to the right intervention across sleep tracking, coaching, and audio/educational content. Our core platform includes: • Multi-layered agentic architecture and proprietary, AI-friendly data store that transform messy, longitudinal sleep data into structured signals for personalization and long-lived memory • Internal AI systems (driven by LLMs, prompts and evals) that accelerate engineering, design, product, and operations (unlocking savings of ~5+ headcount) • Expansive proprietary content library (1,400+ audio sessions and 1,500+ interactive educational lessons for insomnia, snoring/OSA risk, menopause, pediatric sleep, and more). In employer programs, Chorus achieves 30–37% adoption, 80% month-1 and 50–60% month-6 retention across 26 countries, driving 30% faster sleep onset, 30% fewer awakenings, and 20% better daytime functioning. Chorus Sleep spans three platforms (native mobile on iOS + Android, and the web), supporting hundreds of thousands of users, tens of millions of data points.
