Choti Si Khushi

Choti Si Khushi is a community-based, volunteer-driven program dedicated to bridging the growing disparity in opportunities for children residing in urban slums. Our mission is to nurture the hopes, dreams, and ambitions of these children by raising the quality of their lives through education, empowerment, regular counseling, and professional training. The majority of children in our establishment come from families where parents have never attended school, making these children the first generation learners. Due to poor economic conditions and the nature of their parents' jobs, these children often lack the necessary home support. We focus on providing after-school facilitation classes to strengthen their foundation by engaging local communities and utilizing available resources, such as community parks. Choti Si Khushi was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, Registration Number S/RS/SW/1317/2015, with a distinct goal to work towards mainstreaming these slum children by securing their admission in government and MCD school Choti Si Khushi firmly believes that community participation is the key to bringing about the desired change in our society. One of our objectives is to attract more volunteers to help society understand the needs of these children and actively participate in their development.
