Christ Nagar school was started in 1976 as an unaided English Medium School recognized by the state government of Kerala as minority educational institution. The outstanding academic record consistently maintained by the school under the SSLC Board and its achievements in the co- curricular activities ever since its inception has made it one of the most reputed schools in the State. The year 2002 saw the upgradation of the Christ Nagar English High School to Higher Secondary Level. The exemplary leadership by these dedicated minds provide the impetus and zest for our school to grow and glow as per the divine plan. As a CMI educational institution, the school regards education as an integral phenomenon in the holistic formation of the human being for the fulfilment of his/her individual and social responsibilities. The school aims at moulding leaders, who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable. They must be open to growth and must champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace. The school also aims at creating a just and humane society where dignity of the human being is respected, where unjust social structures are challenged, where our cultural heritage of ahimsa, religious harmony and national integration are upheld, where the poor and the downtrodden are specially taken care of. However, being an institution established by, and for, a minority community based on religion, the school gives preference to Christians, both in admission and in appointment and has a concern for the faith – formation of the Christian youth.
