Chrometrack

Chrometrack is an affordable all-in-one solution allowing the school district to locate their assigned Chromebooks, with identification of the location, date and time. chrometrack is designed for the school district to control all actions from within their Google Admin Console or chrometrack app. It is not necessary for the school district to provide chrometrack with student or personnel information. When the “Missing” Chromebook is connected to the internet, locating begins, and continues until the Chromebook status is reset from “Missing”. Using advanced geolocation techniques, chrometrack captures and transmits to the school district the relevant data providing location, date and time for the target Chromebook. With chrometrack, location detection does not require user login*, thus greatly increasing the chances of asset recovery.* Necessary because the Chromebook is presumed missing and not in possession of the user. School administrators will have access to real-time and historical Chromebook location data from the moment the target Chromebook status is changed to “Missing” within the school district Google Admin Console, and continuing until the status is reset. Two formats, tabular and map view, are available on any device with the chrometrack app installed.
