Chronic Ink was founded in 2008. We are one of the largest and most reputable tattoo studios in the world with over 60 artists that specialize in Asian, Realism, Fineline, Blackwork, Illustrative, and other styles. We've been fortunate to win over 100+ industry awards across multiple styles from the most prestigious conventions around the world. We regularly host over 100+ international artists per year with one of the most robust guest artists programs. We've collaborated with companies such as Lululemon, Aston Martin, Hennessy, BMW, and others. We believe that all of us, in order to feel truly happy and fulfilled, need to contribute something meaningful to the world; and our contributions are the tattoos and innovations we create. This philosophy drives us to continuously rethink and redefine every part of what happens inside and outside of our studios, defying compromise and convention to invent better situations for both the artist and client - to constantly create and re-create 'The Future of Tattooing'. Our ultimate goal is to provide the best environment + tools to create the best art pieces in the world for our clients, our artists, and all of our staff. Chronic Ink's dedication to innovation is reflected in its hiring of over 40 non-artist staff, holding a 1:1 artist:non-artist ratio that is unparalleled in the industry. A large portion of this team is working on autonomous tools to optimize the client/artist experience, the artist/support tools and everything around the ecosystem of tattoos and adjacent services. We are actively working to exponentially grow its tech team. We are also very proud of pioneering one of the most open and successful apprenticeship programs in the country with partnerships with the University of Toronto, Ryerson University, OCAD, Sheridan College, and both Catholic and public school boards.
