Chubu University

Chubu University, established in 1964, is located in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, just a short distance from Nagoya, one of Japan's major cities. Guided by the motto “ACTA, NON VERBA – Your actions and words should always go together to be a reliable person,” the university emphasizes practical education, research, and social responsibility. The university offers 8 colleges, 27 departments, and 6 graduate schools with 20 majors, all on one campus. This setup allows students to gain both specialized knowledge and broad perspectives, aiming to develop “specialized generalists.” We offer interdisciplinary programs, including the SDGs program and minor fields, to address global challenges. Chubu University is also a hub for advanced research in areas like peptide synthesis, bioluminescence, aerospace, etc. With partnerships with 60 universities and institutions in 22 countries and regions, students benefit from rich international exchange opportunities.
