Churchfields Junior School

We want to provide pupils with an education that equips them with the knowledge, skills, cultural capital and confidence they will need in their next stage of schooling, university and beyond. We provide a happy and positive environment for all staff. Excellent CPD is provided and staff and pupils benefit from a bright, modern workplace. Specialist teachers teach art, music, PE, French and D&T. We work hard to provide excellence and expect pupils at school and at home to work hard too. We want parents and carers to play an active part in their child’s education and to support our staff. We provide a school where pupils can concentrate, and where they feel safe to work hard and learn from excellent teaching and a rich curriculum. History Churchfields Junior School is situated in South Woodford in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our school opened in 1874 and has occupied the same site over three centuries. In 2011 a rebuild was completed to provide purpose-built accommodation.
