Churn, Inc

Churn’s alternative marketplace makes downsizing rewarding. Churn is a novel resale platform where our possessions can live their best lives. Inspired by the circular economy, Churn is on a mission to pull idle possessions out of storage in order to decrease the environmental impact of producing new consumer goods. We are social entrepreneurs building a business that is net positive for all stakeholders. On the platform, users record the stories of their important possessions in permanent sharable collections and can then transact items. Transaction types include sell-to-donate (where proceeds support local nonprofit partners), exchanges, and gifts. Churn, Inc. is a small impact startup in the process of launching our pilot program in Asheville and Buncombe county. Churn is a registered Public Benefit Corporation.
