Though our humble globe has been thoroughly explored, mapped, and charted, the universe is still a infinite sea of unknown possibility. Until this point, we have only taken a brief step into our proverbial backyard, while the vast enormity of the universe remains too distant to reach. However, somehow the stars aligned in our favor, as for the first time in our history, mankind can now set foot on a new and exciting world: PlanXet™ Human exploration of the planet will not be without peril. Though it is uninhabited as far as we can tell, PlanXet™ can be a hostile environment. Its atmosphere is inconstant, as the air routine changes from a hospitable oxygen rich composition to a toxic cocktail of poisonous gasses. The tunnels beneath its craggy surface likewise shift from time to time, with some caves closing while others open every few minutes. As the resources we wish to mine have so far only been discovered under the surface of the planet, explorers will have to dive deep into the treacherous and ever changing catacombs, charting their way and making not of the way the terrain modifies itself while also searching for the planet’s precious resources, all within a limited window of opportunity that closes when the atmosphere begins to change. Given how little of the planet we have charted thus far, this could be only the beginning of PlanXet’s list of dangers – there is still so much more to discover.
