Cicada Info Solutions Private Limited was formed to address the overseas markets. Applications & Systems Software group, India formed in 1986, is the progenitor of CISPL and has in the past carried out assignments for start-up's in the USA incubated by Panasonic, covering non browser based e-commerce solutions, accessible for conventional PC's, PDA's, & Other Hand held devices including Cell Phones, the solution was designed to run off WIN XX, VXWorks, Linux, Win CE, and QNX. The company has also worked on a pilot with DOCOMO Japan in implementing I-mode Enabled e-commerce services on I-mode enabled Cell Phones. I-mode is the DOCOMO Implementation. Cicada operates in U.A.E in association with Emquest, the GDS distribution arm of Emirates Airlines. Additionally Cicada works directly with named accounts which include some of the largest agencies in Dubai including Airlink International, & BCD Travels. Cicada operates in Sri Lanka in partnership with ITQ Lanka the country distributor for Galileo and Worldspan global distribution systems.
