CILT Egypt, the local branch of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – CILT International was established in 2004. At CILT Egypt we contribute to national plans for developing the sector and helping it evolve into a key global logistics hub. To this end, we implement numerous initiatives including the organization of meetings and events for industry leaders and professionals to discuss issues of common interest and concern as well as share knowledge, experience and practices. We also offer technical advice and consultancy to help decision makers, professionals and experts identify and implement the most innovative and appropriate supply chain, logistics and transport planning tools, methodologies and strategies. Given that people are at the foundation of the sector, we place special emphasis on the creation of a pool of professionals possessing the skills and knowledge base as well as the professional standards necessary to run a modern logistics and transport sector. We are implementing a diversified package of educational and training courses to provide supply chain, transport and logistics students a head start in their career development. As a membership based organization with strong ties across the industry, we enjoy easy access to trainers with hands on experience and knowledge in their fields of specialization. This in turn enables us to tailor programmes to the needs of different target groups - from school leavers to senior management of supply chain, transport and logistics operations. We are currently offering a number of CILT qualifications including the International Award (Entry Level), the International Certificate and the International Diploma in Logistics and Transport as well as running a introductory course on logistics and transport for fresh graduates.
