Natalie Newman is a Director of Photography offering over 20 years of experience in motion picture cinematography. Natalie has worked for CNN, BBC, CBS, MTV, Nat Geo, History, Travel, Discovery, CNET, Telemundo and HGTV, as well as all of the major news stations in the SF Bay Area. Coming from a background in both film and video, she works in a range of formats shooting from helicopters, prison dorms, blizzards and developing countries. The projects Natalie works on vary from narrative to commercial, reality to music video. She also offers aerial camera operating, as well as production consulting and education services. Whether it's reality or narrative, aerials or documentary, there's nothing she likes better than shooting interesting people doing interesting things, especially if it's a defining moment and even more so if it's live. Natalie is currently a freelance DP, a news helicopter photojournalist, and an adjunct faculty member at Berkeley City College.
