Cinewave

Film reflects an experience of vision, of movement, of synchronized sound that is not limited to theatres and projectors. No other form of art can compete with films when it comes to depicting life. With this notion of creating something new, Cinewave, the cinematics society of IIT Bhubaneswar was formed by a handful of artistic geeks and cinephiles who love deep ideas, and at the same time, not willing to wake up to the world's end unless it has some really good special effects. Cinewave continuously strives to deliver good content and quality films. Cinewave has an active YouTube channel featuring innovative and creative videos. In the journey of loving and learning to make films, Cinewave has won various film making competitions including the national level film making competition ‘We Care film Fest’ and also the ones conducted by Rendezvous - IIT Delhi, Spring Fest - IIT Kharagpur. Cinewave also secured the 1st runner-up position in the Inter IIT Cultural meet held in 2018.
