Thirty-eight percent of the institutions in the U.S. reported a decline in international students application and retention due to lack of resources through scholarships or financial aid, housing, among other relevant resources. The need for students' orientation and implementation of global educational exposure in underdeveloped and developing countries is too critical to be ignored. This dropout rates profoundly impact students' home nations who depend on their citizens and college students to return with specialized degrees to solve critical areas in the medical, legal, education, and other systems, who are having difficulty graduating, much less making an impact in their countries. The Medical and healthcare, justice and legal, technology, education, political, and other relevant systems are deficient in third world countries. Millions of infants, children, and adults die every year due to unavailability of proper medical treatment, which is primarily due to a result of lack of infrastructure, misdiagnosis or wrong treatment administered by ill-trained and ill-experienced medical professionals. CII is dedicated to working with students, institutions, professionals, and organizations to provide long-term solutions by operating and offering ten (10) core programs such as CII scholarships and grants, one-on-one guidance with CII financial aid specialists to help them apply for other external financial aids- thereby increasing their chance of securing these resources, networking and mentorships, career empower, sponsorship for standardized and professional exams, etc. These programs are designed to help global students assimilate, integrate, and thrive within the U.S. Higher Education System. CII is committed to raising and empowering students and striving to ensure that they graduate from college, gain some form of professional experience, and return to their countries as role models, efficient professionals and a force for positive change.
