Ciorchin is well-known Romanian, Cluj-Napoca based, Community born from the passion of photography of its two founders; An ambitious Photography School through the Ciorchin Courses; A continuous Explorer through the Ciorchin Photo Tours inside or outside the country organised with and for Romanian or foreign photographers; A narrative of the commercial images through the Ciorchin Product Photography Services; And, nevertheless, a mirror of the most relevant events through the Ciorchin Events Photography Services. In 2013, Ciorchin Cultural Association, a non-governmental organization developing cultural projects focused on projects in the field of photography, the field of expertise of founders: Radu Salcudean and Stefan Socaciu, two dedicated professional photographers and lecturers-trainers in photography. Ciorchin becomes a brand in photo education, and in 2017, Radu Sălcudean and Ştefan Socaciu set up Studio Ciorchin SRL. Studio Ciorchin SRL is a start-up that organizes accredited photography courses. Equally, courses, workshops and exhibitions are aimed at professionals and those for whom photography is a hobby or relaxation. With an experience (22 years of photography of each of the two founders) and over 6 years in the field of photography courses, the two "Ciorchini" are graduates of the University of Art and Design, specialised in Photo-Video-Digitalised Processing of Images, from Cluj -Napoca being passionate about documentary photography, architecture photography, portraits, studio photography, experimental and conceptual photography.
