CIQUA Levante is a company specialized in the international development, protection and licensing of new high-value citrus varieties. Our activity is based on advanced classical breeding programs and rigorous selection processes, aimed at developing differentiated varieties that meet real market demands in terms of color, flavor, functional properties, agronomic adaptability and commercial differentiation. We develop and manage our own portfolio of protected varieties, including lemons, mandarins, oranges and grapefruits, with a strong focus on red pigmented citrus with natural anthocyanins, varieties with higher sugar content and plant material free of furanocoumarins. All our work is carried out with a clear emphasis on varietal legal protection and long term value creation. CIQUA was founded with a strong international vision. We structure licensing models tailored to each market and work closely with operators, nurseries and strategic partners in multiple countries, turning plant genetics into a strategic asset capable of generating recurring revenues and sustainable competitive advantages.
