Circumeuropa

The Circumeuropa crew, namely Cristian Ilea, captain and initiator of the project, Mihai Pătrașcu, skipper, Oana Isabella Gavriliuc, biologist, scientific researcher, Doru Creț, skipper and founder of the first yachting club in Timișoara, and Cosmin Jitariuc, skipper and TV journalist, invite you to a cultural and environmental protection expedition around Europe, on water, departing from and arriving in the European capital of culture, Timișoara. The event is called Sail Europe Around (SEA 2023) and is scheduled for April - October 2023. The expedition will stop at several former or future capitals of culture, or just in "simple" European cities along the route, and wants to take the spirit Romania to these places more or less distant from Europe, to draw attention to the importance of protecting the environment and to report on the whole journey throughout it. It will be a challenge with national and international visibility, which we started talking about on Romanian and international media, and on social media as well.
