Cirrus Medical

Cirrus Medical is a software engineering company specialising in research and development of technologies for healthcare. Our current project is emphasised on building a complete teleradiology solution so that the medical imaging data is stored and distributed on the cloud to the remote workstation of the reporting radiologist. The project includes building the diagnostic client for viewing the medical images as well as a web based medical image viewer for referring doctors to view the radiologist’s report and images. Started in 2013, the company has successfully designed, developed and is actively field testing the medical image viewers, a new proprietary lossless compression method as well as the cloud storage and distribution network. We are a team of software engineers, radiologists and other medical professionals who founded this company because we recognised the need for a more efficient reporting system, to enhance the radiologist’s user experience, increase their reporting productivity and to provide seamless access to images on the cloud.
