The main goal of the CIS Center is to develop and harmonize scientifically based methodological approaches, programs and projects for the convergence of regulatory practices, including in the handling of chemicals, raw materials and materials, the implementation of technical regulation, standardization, metrology and conformity assessment. CIS Center was entrusted with maintaining the secretariat of the technical committee for standardization TK 339 "Safety of raw materials, materials and substances", within the framework of which the national norms and rules of the Russian Federation are harmonized with international recommendations regarding the implementation of the GHS and OECD test methods.
