CISTIM Leuven vzw is a drug discovery centre driving the translation of innovative basic research to the clinic. In close collaboration with its partner @CD3 - Centre for Drug Design and Discovery, CISTIM conducts and coordinates research projects focused on: • validation of innovative biomedical concepts, proposed by academic partners or biotechs, • biological research to identify new small molecules and biologicals (i.e. screening, in silico modelling), • chemical synthesis (medicinal chemistry) and biological evaluation of molecules and biologicals to optimise their biological activity from hit to lead.
