Cita Sehat Foundation

Cita Sehat Foundation (CSF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that focuses on empowering community health activities in Indonesia. CSF which was established in late 2008 has contributed to improving public health in various target areas throughout Indonesia. With 100 human resources in synergy, CSF conducts a comprehensive approach to improve community health. We believe that in order to help people achieve their best health status, we also should conduct the best approach. Therefore, we use a modification of Blum's theory which is one of the generic concept of determinants of community health. We call this approach the BEST approach, an acronym of Behavior, Environment, Health Services, and Sustainable approach. By using this approach in any intervention to the community in the areas we work, we hope the public can have good health behaviors, living in a supportive environment, have access to quality health care, and have the power to be healthy.
