Cities In Balance

Cities In Balance was founded in 2018 by the architects Nefeli Papadimitriou and Andreas Lampropoulos and the professor of cinematographic studies Lydia Papadimitriou as a Non Profit Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Sculpture, Architecture and Communication. Its goal is to contribute to the upgrading of public space in our modern cities by aiming at the balance between social and economic dynamics through a human-centered approach that takes into account parameters such as environmental protection and quality of life. Theodoros,sculptor was the honorary president of the company until his death in 2018 and Cities In Balance aims to continue his theoretical work. In this context, the public space is understood as a space of cultural communication where Art functions as a catalyst for quality of life, according to his sculptural, research, educational and writing work.
